Youth Hockey



  • Pre-Hockey
    • Pre-Hockey is intended for children who have not ice skated before who are enthusiastic about hockey. Kids will learn balance, basic forward & backward skating, glides, stops, turns and beginning crossovers.

      Classes run for 30 minutes.
      Jersey provided.

      Required Equipment: hockey helmet, stick, shin guards, hockey skates & hockey gloves.

  • Hockey Training
    • Ages 5+

      In a dynamic station training format, skaters will develop the skills necessary to play ice hockey. Stick handling, passing, shooting, power skating & team play are developed through exciting drills. Our coaches emphasize the importance of developing as young hockey players

      We want our future hockey players to get as much practice and experience as possible before joining a league and recommend that Hockey Training participants attend at least one training session each week, but are encouraged to attend as frequently as they are able.

      Classes run for 60 minutes.
      Jersey provided.

      Required Equipment: hockey helmet, mouth guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey pants, shin guards, hockey socks, hockey skates, hockey gloves & ice hockey stick.

  • Junior Rangers Youth League
    • Ages 6+

      Players learn the fundamentals of game play with coaches involve on the ice with their team. As opposed to a non-stop game situation coaches aid their team in setting up plays, explaining and reinforcing the role of each position, stopping play as needed to explain rules, penalties and positioning.

      It is recommended that players attend one practice and one game day per week, however they can attend any and all scheduled practices and game times they are able.

      Practices & Games each run for 60 minutes.
      Jersey provided.

      Required Equipment: hockey helmet, mouth guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey pants, shin guards, hockey socks, hockey skates, hockey gloves & ice hockey stick.

  • Power SK8
    • Wednesday: 4:00 - 4:45pm
      Thursdays: 6:30 - 7:15pm
      Saturday: 9:00 - 9:45am

      This class is designed to help hockey students improve their skating skills. It will incorporate drills to increase speed, improve turns and transitions, and make skaters more confident in their skills. The skating knowledge gained in this class will greatly benefit skaters in their hockey practices and games.

      Pre-Requisite: Must be able to skate forward with confidence in hockey skates.

      Equipment: Helmet mandatory. Equipment optional. No sticks allowed.

      Full Season Fee: $450
